We bought a gnome at the store and created Gnorm the Kindness Gnome. He brings a basketful of kindness and sneaks into your yard when you least expect it. The goal is for Gnorm to be passed around from house to house helping to spread kindness. I created a silly Gnome Poem you are welcome to use if you want to try this in your neighborhood! (My poem was not checked for accurate meter/rhyming schemes - so be gentle on my past very tired mom self)

Hello Neighbor!
My name is Gnorm the Kindness Gnome!
And I’ve come for a short stay outside your home
I brought you a basketful of something fun
Please enjoy it while I soak up some sun
I hope you have had a wonderful day
And don’t mind me showing up this way
Gnomes are actually quite stealthy
We find surprises (esp. kind ones) keep us healthy
We also like to travel within the week
Or we find our feet begin to sink
I live in the ______ ______ Neighborhood
And am looking for some travel help if you would
Simply, fill the basket full of something kind
It doesn’t have to be fancy, whatever you find
Then wait until your neighbor is gone
And sneak me into your neighbor’s lawn
Leave this note by their front door

Fill Gnorm’s basket with something fun and deliver to a neighbor! Make sure your address is logged in Gnorm’s travel book, so neighbors know where Gnorm has yet to visit.
